Anyone who has a website has a desire to achieve a top rank listing in Google’s search engine results. In order to accomplish this goal there are a series of on-page optimization task that must be completed. To someone just starting out this can be a bit intimidating.

Take for example the heading tags or, tags etc. Many new webmasters are concerned with the order in which they have their heading tags. This really is not a big deal. Google’s bot understands what it is that you are trying to accomplish and will interpret your code just fine.
It is also important to note that as a newbie you cannot make your entire page a header tag. This would not be visually appealing to the reader nor would it help you in your efforts to rank well in Google’s search results.

A few years ago there was a study was done, and it stated that approximately 40% of the pages posted to the Internet had syntax errors. If the Google bot was concerned with the order of your heading tags thousands of pages would never be indexed in their search results.

Focus on high quality content that is beneficial to your readers. Make your pages visually appealing to your users without going overboard and you will do just fine.
